It’s been a blessing to have the opportunity to meet Tod In FIRST, (Friends In Recovery Standing Together), and have the opportunity to work on myself.
Since being in FIRST, I have really begun to enjoy my sobriety. I now have many great things going for myself, thanks to FIRST.
This group has been a safe haven for me: a place I could go to and talk about anything. And I mean anything.
I can relate to Tod, which makes it easier for me because he has been through the same struggles I have.
Working the steps, coupled with the great information I have been given in FIRST, has been the keys to success on my road to recovery.
I would definitely encourage others to give FIRST a shot. Because if an addict like me can do it, anyone can do it! Thank you, and God bless
